Keeping a Stiff Upper Lip, regardless...

Ladies and gentlemen of the road...

Posted on May 16, 2019 by Captain P. Fawcett

‘...the sedentary life has left us edgy, unfulfilled.  Even after 400 generations in villages and cities, we haven’t forgotten.  The open road still softly calls, like a nearly forgotten song of childhood.’

- Carl Sagan

Who amongst us will heed the call?

In its first two years BarbersRide has already raised over £21,000 for charity.  I now present BarbersRide 3.  Will you go the distance?

Childhood should be a time of adventure and imagination so in August like-minded motorcycle enthusiasts will assemble for one epic journey in support of Make A Wish UK, the charity granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Each night the band of bikers will stop at one of five inspiring barbering destinations in Bath, Aylesbury, Norwich, Sheffield and Lytham St Annes.  An evening seminar will showcase the skills and repertoire of well known Barbers, respected throughout the industry.  Fuelled by the camaraderie of the road, together we shall party, tell tales and celebrate a day of burning the miles as only Kings of the Saddle and Queens of the Highway know how.

Whether you decide to attend a singular seminar or step up and take your rightful place in the posse, details are to be found right here:

Who will ride with us?

Main sponsors include: Captain Fawcett, Harley-Davidson UK, American Crew, Reuzel & Hard Grind.
